
Letter Builder Innovation Challenge 2022

Problem Statement
There are 11 types of letter templates under Office Management, “Secretariat Instruction, 2014”. Each ministry/division and its subordinate directorates/organizations prepare and customize letter templates according to their official needs. The number of custom templates is numerous. Hence, different systems manage this continuous customization in silo modes which is time-consuming, complex, and unable to fulfill the user needs, resulting in disruption of official work.
Outcome/results expected
- The “Letter-Builder” will have the facility to make any custom template for each ministry/division/department according to their requirements and official needs. These created templates can be used by other offices too. This will speed up the official work and the communication process with government offices and other organizations.

- The system should have the capability to integrate with other platforms and in a portable mode.
- Analyze, design, and develop e-Government solutions under the n-tier application model
- Prepare technical documents including but not limited to BRD, PRD, SRS, data dictionary, use cases, test cases, ERD, UAT, and training manual
- Design and develop a database for the software in a structured architecture and the database should be able to share data where required
- Create a Template using drag-and-drop tools, customized components, mathematical formulas, and symbols of letter builder
- User-wise private symbols to create and view
- Office-wise template creation
- Template duplication detection and recommendation features are preferable.

What is an Innovation Challenge?
Innovation Challenge is about solving a well-regarded problem. a2i circulates the problem and innovators are asked to submit their idea or solution to solve that.
How many days are required to get the final results?
It may take about three months from the launch date.
What are the evaluation stages?
Generally, 4 steps of the process, shortlisting, Bootcamp, technical evaluation, and approval from the Executive Committee.
What are the selection criteria?
innovative concept, feasibility, strategy, implementation plan, management team, etc.
What additional support will be given to the innovators?
Marketing, promotion, partnership, intellectual property support, fundraising, mentoring, training, etc. will be given from seed to growth and scale-up stages.
What is the winning prize?
Up to 1 crore BDT, considering the due diligence and technical evaluation.
Should I submit a technology-based solution?
a2i Innovation Fund invites innovators to solve problems with technology-based solutions.
Why should I participate in the Innovation Challenge?
Innovators have the opportunity to participate in national problem-solving as well as financial, technical, mentoring and other necessary support from a2i and industry leaders.
Who is eligible to submit an idea/solution?
Any individual/team/company/consortium/organization is eligible.
